Services for individuals

Experienced, caring, sensitive

We work with individuals and their families, friends and carers to support independence and enhance care. We assess needs and suggest practical solutions. We set you up and get you going. If you have technology in place we can help you make the most of it.

We are proudly independent so our aim is what’s best for you.

Our Approach

We use four steps. You choose what works for you.

Assessment

We take an in-depth look at your situation, research solutions and report back to you.

Procurement

We source equipment for you, or show you what you need and where to get it.

Installation

We get you set up and take time to show you how it works.

Support

We look after you and provide a little extra help to get you used to the equipment in the early days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost?

The initial chat is free. After that we charge £25 an hour. Equipment costs vary enormously, with some available free of charge through local authorities. We can probably give you an idea of costs once we’ve spoken.

Are you part of the Council?

We are not part of the council or the NHS. We are independent and this is our own business. We cover a wide range of equipment which enables us to select what is best for you. Council Telecare services like Careline may offer some of the equipment we recommend. If what you need is available through your council we will tell you. We am not tied to any manufacturers or service providers and we don’t get any commission for the equipment we recommend or supply.

What is Care Technology?

Put simply care technology is anything which will help with care. We specialise in equipment to help with communications like specialist telephones and Alex video calling, equipment to detect problems like fire and falls and call for help, and equipment to help with medication and controlling your home.

How do you know what to do?

We’ve been working in this field for over 12 years and we have a wide range of experience. We’ve worked for local authority services, the NHS, care homes and commercial providers. We’ve been working independently for over five years. We also cared for Dylan’s parents for seven years which gave real insight. We focus on practical solutions which work for real people in real situations.
